Dead Sea Rift

Earthquakes in Israel

The Middle-east is a land of fault lines and earthquakes. One of the most impressive fault lines lies directly in Israel in what is called called "The Dead Sea Rift", (some call it the Jordan Rift Valley.) Here is a picture of it by satellite.

Statistically, the Land of Israel has a history of a destructive earthquake once every 80 to 100 years. The last major quake was in 1927... 80 years ago. It is no wonder that scientists are keeping their eye on this region of the earth!

Geologist Dr. Ron Avni of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev notes that, "There's a very high probability that some time in the next two decades there will be a major earthquake."

Earthquakes in Scripture
There are many scriptures that speak of earthquakes. Several speak of a HUGE earthquake, such as never been experienced on the planet before... and it takes place right there in Israel! (Possibly in this very rift area that you see in the photo above!) Here are some passages that talk of earthquakes, specifically toward the time of the end.

Ezekiel 38:18-20 (nkjv)
“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’

Zech 14:3,4
Then the LORD will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.

Matthew 24:7
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

Revelation 6:12
I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

Revelation 11:13
In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Revelation 16:18
And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.

Tish B' Av Prophecy

Messiah's Prophecy Concerning Tisha B' Av

Jesus Christ the suffering Messiah of Isaiah 53 spoke these words concerning the destruction of the Temple in 70AD, and also of his coming again to this earth!

Excerpts from Luke Chapter 21
"Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?” And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.” Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

The Destruction of Jerusalem

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Coming of the Son of Man

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

40 Years Ago Today
on the 26th of Tammuz
"Today, Thursday, the 26th of Tammuz, marks the 40th anniversary of a moving ceremony that began in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem and ended on the Mt. of Olives. Some 40 fighters and others who were killed in the battle for Old Jerusalem in 1948 had been buried in a pit there, because of the siege; in 1967, after the city was liberated and unified, they were reburied on the Mt. of Olives."

Middle East Peacemaker?

"Tony Blair has given his strongest indication yet that he is ready to take up a role looking for peace in the Middle East when he retires as Prime Minister on Wednesday.

Widespread reports have suggested Mr Blair will soon be appointed the envoy for the so-called Quartet of the US, EU, UN and Russia which is seeking to establish peace in the region based on a "road map" towards two states of Israel and Palestine."

Prayer Request!

Please make a note of the request below! It is from Joel Rosenberg. The link at the end will lead to some important emails that he has received from Pastors in the Gaza area! (Make sure you are looking at the June 18th entry.)

CRISIS IN GAZA:
Please pray for courage for the believers as bloodbath worsens!
"Palestinian Christians find themselves caught in the crossfire. Hamas operatives have blown up a church, attacked a Christian school and set Bibles on fire. That said, here are three emails I have just received from top Palestinian evangelical leaders in Gaza"........

Understanding Hamas and Fatah

There were interesting developments in the Gaza area this weekend. Hamas has taken total control of the Gaza strip. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has dissolved the government and declared a "state of emergency"!

But who are the Hamas? To bottom-line it for you, they are a particular branch of Islamic Jihadists who are bent on the destruction of Jerusalem. (This development is particularly alarming since they will be strategically placed in Israel's back yard!)

Joel Rosenberg in his blog (located HERE)recalls the historical foundation for this shift in power...

"In the summer of 2005, then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon insisted on a unilateral withdrawal of all Israeli forces from Gaza saying the occupation wasn't working and the Israeli people were tired and ready to come home....such a bold move would be a sign of goodwill, Sharon insisted, to the Palestinian people and the entire Arab and Islamic world, evidence of Israel's goodwill and desire for peace....but even close allies of Sharon -- chief among them Bibi Netanyahu and Natan Sharansky, both of whom were serving at the time in Sharon's cabinet -- warned that such a unilateral withdrawal would be read by Israel's enemies not as a sign of goodwill but as signs of weakness and surrender....Gaza would not become a model of peace and prosperity, they cautioned, but the scene of a full blown civil war that could give rise to "Hamastan," a deadly new base camp for radical Islamic jihadists....sadly, that is exactly what has happened....with at least 113 Palestinians dead so far and hundreds more wounded in raging street battles between Hamas and Fatah, Hamas now appears to have gained full control of the Gaza Strip....there have been reports that Hamas commanders are executing Fatah leaders in front of their families."

No wonder their name "Hamas" in Hebrew means "violence!"

Here is additional information concerning the two factions.
(Thanks to Wikipedia for this info.)

Fatah:
Fatah is a major secular Palestinian political party and the largest organization in the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), a generally secular multi-party confederation. In Palestinian politics it is on the center-left of the spectrum. It is mainly secular and nationalist although not predominantly socialist.

History
The movement, which espoused a Palestinian nationalist ideology in which Palestine would be liberated by the actions of Palestinian Arabs, was founded in 1958 or 1959 by members of the Palestinian diaspora - principally professionals working in the Gulf States who had been refugees in Gaza and had gone on to study in Cairo. Yasser Arafat was head of the Palestinian student movement in Cairo from 1952 to 1956. Fatah became the dominant force in Palestinian politics after the 1967 Six-Day War.

Hamas:
Since the death of Palestine Liberation Organization leader Yasser Arafat, (who was of the Fatah party) Hamas's political wing has entered and won many local elections in Gaza, Qalqilya, and Nablus. In January 2006, Hamas won a surprise victory in the Palestinian parliamentary elections, taking 76 of the 132 seats in the chamber, while the ruling Fatah party took 43.

History
Founded in 1987, Hamas was the Gaza Strip branch of the Pan-Arab (Sunni) Islamist Muslim Brotherhood movement founded in Egypt. Hamas is opposed to the existence of Israel and has denounced the 1993 Oslo Accords, the foundation of the failed peace process, as a "betrayal of God's will".

Hamas regards the territory of the present-day State of Israel — as well as the Gaza Strip and the West Bank — as an inalienable Islamic waqf or religious bequest, which can never be surrendered to non-Muslims. It asserts that struggle (jihad) to regain control of the land from Israel is the religious duty of every Muslim. Hamas does not recognize Israel as a sovereign state, unlike the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) which has recognized it since 1988, and calls it the "Zionist entity", a common hostile term in Arab political rhetoric. Its charter calls for an end to Israel. During the election campaign, Hamas did not mention its call for the destruction of Israel in its electoral manifesto. But several Hamas candidates insist that the charter is still in force and often called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" in campaign speeches. On January 25, 2006, after winning the Palestinian elections, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar gave an interview to Al-Manar TV denouncing foreign demands that Hamas recognize Israel's right to exist.[27] After the establishment of Hamas government, Dr Al-Zahar stated his "dreams of hanging a huge map of the world on the wall at my Gaza home which does not show Israel on it, I hope that our dream to have our independent state on all historic Palestine (including Israel). This dream will become real one day. I'm certain of this because there is no place for the state of Israel on this land". He also "didn't rule out the possibility of having Jews, Muslims and Christians living under the sovereignty of an Islamic state, adding that the Palestinians never hated the Jews and that only the Israeli occupation was their enemy".

Miracles and the Six Day War

What do you believe concerning the victory of the Six Day War? Some see the hand of the Almighty in those events of forty years ago. Israel was NOT the one most would have placed their bets on to win that war! In fact, it appears that the only reason they won was due to some bumbling on the part of the Egyptian air force... or was it?

A very key event took place the morning of June 5, 1967 when Jordanian radar detected the Israeli air force taking off. A special warning code was sent to Cairo but the decoding officer used the wrong day's code and failed to decipher the vital information. In the mean time, the Israeli Air Force was able to essentially destroy the Egyptian Air Force on the ground, which affected the entire outcome of the war!

On analysis, there were other little mis-steps by the Egyptians here and there leading to an Israeli victory. So do you think this was just due to sloppy war strategy, human error, maybe just plain "coincidence"... or was perhaps the LORD intervening on behalf of a nation with whom He still had plans?

Author Joel Rosenberg stated it this way:
"For evangelical Christians, the Six Day War was a huge moment of seeing God's Hand intervene on behalf of the Jewish People. That's what was so extraordinary, that you had this moment where Arab/Islamic leaders were saying we're going to throw the Jews into the sea and it looked like another holocaust was immanent. Suddenly, in six days, the Jewish people defended themselves, destroyed their enemies, tripled their land; recaptured control of Jerusalem for the first time in 2,000 years and on the seventh day they rested. That just sounded way too Biblical for evangelicals all over the planet and they rejoiced with the Jewish people."

Even Moshe Dayan, commander of the Israeli forces during that time, who was "minimally religious" at best, was overcome with emotion as he went to the Western Wall and slipped a note into a crack in the stone. After he left, a reporter who took notice of the incident, took the note and saw that it read, "'This is from God. It's wondrous in our eyes," (a verse from Psalms.)

It has now been FORTY YEARS since that incredible point in history.... forty is a VERY interesting number on God's time table! Let's take a quick look at that number in Scripture. Perhaps it will help us as we watch and try to understand what God may be doing in the Middle-east.

Be diligent to keep your eyes open because...
God is at Work in Our World!!
BEE

FORTY
Forty is an important number in scripture due to it's frequent use and the fact that it is associated with a period of probation, trial, or sometimes "chastisement" (as opposed to judgment) of God's Children. It also appears to be associated with a time of enlarged dominion, or a renewed or extended rule.

Bullinger saw 15 such periods of forty in scripture:

* Forty Years of Probation by Trial:
Israel in the wilderness, Deut 8:2-5; Psa 95:10; Acts 13:18
(the third 40 of Moses' life, 120 years).
Israel from the crucifixion to the destruction of Jerusalem.

* Forty Years of Probation by Prosperity in Deliverance and Rest:
under Othniel, Judg 3:11,
under Barak, Judg 5:31,
under Gideon, Judg 8:28.

* Forty Years of Probation by Prosperity in Enlarged Dominion:
under David, 2 Sam 5:4,
under Solomon, 1 Kings 11:42,
under Jeroboam II. See 2 Kings 12:17,18, 13:3,5,7,22,25, 14:12-14,23,28,
under Jehoash, 2 Kings 12:1,
under Joash, 2 Chron 24:1.

* Forty Years of Probation by Humiliation and Servitude:
Israel under the Philistines, Judg 13:1.
Israel in the time of Eli, 1 Sam 4:18.
Israel under Saul, Acts 13:21.

* Forty Years of Probation by Waiting:
Moses in Egypt, Acts 7:23.
Moses in Midian, Acts 7:30

Jerusalem Day 2007 Flash Flood

I had debated whether or not to post on this topic lest someone think I was making "something out of nothing". But the fact of the matter is this was an unusual occurrence. This was not the "rainy season" for Jerusalem, this came upon them suddenly out of a clear sky. The weather men had no idea... and there was not only sudden heavy rain and flash flooding, but hail also! All of this on such an historic day... the 40th anniversary of when Israel took back Jerusalem and the Temple mount!! How could I ignore this? Especially, when I am keenly watching for signs of the Lord at work in our world today!

I am watching and waiting, listening and learning... I want to be ready when I hear Him whisper to me in a still small voice and I want to reply "here I am Lord"!

1Kings 19:11-13 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.
13 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave.

So, here is the "complete documentation" of the Jerusalem Day storm and flash flood. Including the radar sequence, news articles, blog links and pictures! I do not know if this was a warning of coming judgment or not. I will leave that for the Lord to make plain in His time. I will only report.. and let you decide.

Rain on Jerusalem's parade
Unexpected storm disrupts celebrations for Jerusalem Day, causes massive flooding
(05.16.07, 17:33 / Israel News)
"The official ceremony to mark the 40 year anniversary of the unification of Jerusalem was canceled, Wednesday afternoon, due to an unexpected storm. City residents told Ynet of torrential downpours and heavy hail – definitely not summer weather in Israel."

"Natanel Feldman, who was in the Old City when the storm broke said, "the central street is totally flooded. Someone here told me that, even in the winter, he can't recall having seen a storm like this."

"It's hard to imagine that, only a few hours ago, it was warm and sunny. Now I hear thunder and lightning. It's like winter. These rains are bizarre."

"It began as an ordinary day. Warm, even," recounted Jerusalem resident Moshe Vilner. "All of a sudden, it began raining and hailing." Resident Dov Ayalon said that "cars got stuck in the gathering waters…In addition, sewage systems also overflowed."

"This is extremely heavy hail," said a resident named Liron. "It's accumulating on the ground. People in Jerusalem are in shock."

Heavy rains dampen Jerusalem Day

"It was the first time since Israel liberated the eastern half of Jerusalem from Jordanian occupation that Jerusalem Day events were affected by rain.

Those familiar with Israel will know that such heavy rain in mid-to-late May is rare, if not unprecedented.

Religious commentators provided a range of reasons for the extraordinary downpour on a day that was supposed to be filled with joyous outdoor celebration marking what many view as a divine restoration of Jerusalem to Israel.

On one side of the spectrum, some Israelis explained that even the heavens had opened up to bless Jerusalem on its special day. Rain is precious in this arid region that goes without precipitation for months during the summer.

Others opined that God was not going to allow Jerusalem to celebrate while the residents of the southern town of Sderot wept and fled their homes under a deluge of Palestinian rockets. Israel's leadership has been harshly criticized for effectively abandoning the defense of Sderot, while focusing such lavish attention on matters like Jerusalem Day."

An interesting coincidence?
Just a few days before... this article was posted on INN. The head of a branch of the Islamic Movement wanted to "flood" the Temple Mount with Muslims during this time. Could it be that God was essentially saying "You want to see flood... I will show you a flood??!! (On that same day 40 years ago Moshe Dayan took the Temple Mount but then control was given up to the Muslims.)

Islamic Movement Initiates Effort to Flood Temple Mount
(http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/122410)
by Nissan Ratzlav-Katz
(IsraelNN.com) Sheikh Raad Salah, the head of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement, has been working hard to ensure that thousands of Muslims will arrive in Jerusalem's Old City every day to pray in the Al-Aksa mosque, located on the Temple Mount. Salah has been talking with Arab clan leaders from Jerusalem and its environs in an effort to convince them to take turns bringing their entire extended families to the mosque.

"Salah expressed his conviction that Jerusalem will fall into Muslim hands by "Heavenly promise." He also said that in such a conquest, no sign of a Jewish presence will remain."
"Sheikh Raad Salah, leader of the northern Israel branch of the Islamic Movement, has launched an effort to ensure Muslim control over Jerusalem's Temple Mount, and eventually the entire city.

Salah, reported Israel National News, is urging Israeli Arab Muslims from around the country to come to Jerusalem on a rotating schedule so that mass Muslim prayers can be held at the Temple Mount on a daily basis.

Additionally, Salah wants all mosques in the Jerusalem area to be closed on Fridays so that local Muslims are forced to congregate at the Temple Mount to recite traditional Islamic prayers and hear what are typically venomous anti-Israel sermons."

Sanhedrin Update....
I was wondering if the Israeli courts were going to allow them to do this. It was highly unlikely, but the movement does seem to be gaining steam.

Court nixes Passover lamb sacrifice at Temple Mount
By Nadav Shargai and Amiram Barkat

"In their efforts to sacrifice a live animal at the Temple Mount, the New Sanhedrin Council adopted an almost underground modus operandi. Rabbis Adin Steinsaltz, Israel Ariel, Yishai Baved and their associates secretly located a butcher, found a Cohen hailing from a lineage 1,000 years old and worked out a plan to quickly erect an alter on the Temple Mount.

They tried to revive the customs of the ancient Sanhedrin tribunal, which was the highest judicial body for the Jewish people in Israel some 1,600 years ago. They sought to slaughter a sacrificial animal across from the Western Wall.

The activists, who belong to various religious circles such as the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement, also petitioned the High Court of Justice for the right to perform the ritual.

Their plans were thwarted yesterday when the court rejected their request, ruling that "the rights of the petitioners to practice their faith are outweighed by other considerations such as public order and safety."

Despite the ruling, the followers decided to hold a colorful procession yesterday in Jerusalem, heading to the Western Wall along with two sheep.

The Temple Mount Movement followers present were joined by partners from the Temple Institute, which has for years prepared the traditional holy tools and utensils for the Third Temple, according to Torah specifications.

The spectacular display did not, however, persuade authorities to allow the participants to perform the practice. "

Daniel's 70th Week

Hi All,
Here is the beginning of our study on the "last week" of Daniel's prophecy.
Love, Bee

The 70th Week.

FIRST.... a little review to help us better understand:

Remember WHO were the weeks referring to?
Daniel's people, (Israel)
The Holy City, (Jerusalem)
When we examine prophecy and look for signs of fulfillment, our eyes need to be on Israel and Jerusalem specifically! This is where it will happen, not Europe, not the United States, not Rome, or Russia, or Mecca, (although some of these other places may be involved,) but in the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Also notice... this prophecy is not only about "the people", there is the LAND. There is a theme in scripture and that theme involves a literal kingdom on "earth"... land... a piece of soil! What is it about the "land" that is so important that it is even included in the everlasting covenant made to the Patriarchs? This has baffled me! But I am getting glimmers of what this is all about. More about that later......... ;-)

A word about how I am viewing these weeks:
I am taking these weeks as a synopsis of the entire plan, not necessarily as a strict "timeline" of the future events. In other words, when all is said and done, all of these 6 things in Dan. 9:24 will have been accomplished at some time or another, with the exception of where it specifically indicated that "after the seven and the sixty two weeks" Messiah would be cut off, and the subsequent destruction of Jerusalem by the "people of the Prince who is to come" (vs. 26) Also the "Abomination of Desolation" appears to take place after these 69 weeks and within this "last week" time period. More discussion on this in the next study!

So what does it say the entire 70 weeks would accomplish?

Daniel 9:24
“ Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
1. To finish the transgression,
All offenses against Israel and Jerusalem will be finished

2. To make an end of sins,
3. To make reconciliation for iniquity,
These two go together, as they deal with sin. All sin guilt will have been done away with for those who believe, because of the perfect sacrifice... Christ himself. He is our reconciliation with the Heavenly Father.

4. To bring in everlasting righteousness,
Simply, a time when mankind will sin no more.

5. To seal up vision and prophecy,
After the 70 weeks are completely over, all prophecy and visions will have been fulfilled and documented, or "sealed up" as in the sealing of a historical scroll when there is no longer any need for things to be written in it.

6. And to anoint the Most Holy."
Some translations say "Most Holy Place." To "anoint" means to pour oil on it, to consecrate it, set it aside as holy. As in this verse:
Gen 28:18 "Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it."
What is the "most holy place"? If we are talking about Daniel's holy city Jerusalem, (and we are)... we are talking about the Temple Mount, and possibly an altar of some type!

So, how many of these things has already taken place? How much of this is historical and how much is future?
Stay tuned..................

Messiah Cut Off

Hello All,
Daniel 9:24 was my "verse of the day" today on my Google page, so I thought maybe the LORD wanted me to share with you the meaning of the "Seventy Weeks of Daniel". I think all I can handle today will be the first 69 weeks... stay tuned for that "last week"! ;-) Here is my short and to the point version.
Blessings to You, Bee

P.S. There are a few different variations of these calculations but suffice it to say, all are very close to the date that Messiah was "cut off" or crucified, "but not for himself", it was for us. Jesus Christ died for our sins as the perfect Passover sacrifice according to the Scriptures!
Isaiah 53:5,6
But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Daniel Chapter 9

24 “ Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.
25 “ Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.
26 “ And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself"..........

First of all, to understand this prophecy we need to note these are 70 "weeks of years". The length of a "prophetic year" being only 360 days instead of 365! These 70 weeks will begin with the decree to rebuild and restore Jerusalem completely ("with streets", not just the wall.) We know this date from the documentation of the decree in Nehemiah 2:1 "And it came to pass in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes," Most historians know when this twentieth year was and understand this date to be around March 5th 444 BC. Keep this date in mind.

Now let's work the numbers... and let's use "days" right now instead of years because of the difference in the length of the year.
7 weeks of years = 17,640 days (or 49 "prophetic years")
62 weeks of years = 156,240 days (or 434 "prophetic years")
Let's add these, the total so far is 69 weeks which is = 173,880 days (or 483 "prophetic years")

Now let's add those 173,880 days to the date 444 BC and what do we come up with? First we need to convert those days into OUR calendar years to get our present day date.
173,880 days divided by 365 = 476.38 modern day years, (I will round it down.)
444 BC + 476 years minus the 0 year for the BC/AD shift and you get ...
33 AD The same year our Lord was crucified, or very close to it!

Some have figured the exact "days" and have come up with the calculation from March 5th,444 BC add 173,880 days and you will get to Nisan 10 or March 30, 33 AD which according to Luke 19:29-40 is the day Messiah entered Jerusalem on a donkey and all were singing Hosanna to the Son of David! Just a few days later Messiah was crucified.

Zechariah 9:9
“ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.

Jewish Sacrifices Begin?!

It looks like there may not be a need for a "third temple" to be built in order for there to be a "ceasing of sacrifice" in the "middle of the week" (in accordance with Daniel 9:27)
Check this out!! (Quote and link below)
Amazing! Bee

"This year in Jerusalem, the Sanhedrin Initiative is calling upon the Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world to participate in the Korban Pesach. The Sanhedrin Initiative will choose sheep to be offered in the Korban Pesach, and all preparations will be made in the expectation that we can renew this ancient, traditional offering."
